I stayed there in the middle of June, one night before a flight home. I had stayed there in March and had a fairly good stay at that time. I checked in at about 3 PM. As I walked to my room,which was the very last unit on the fourth floor, the hall way was lined with at least two dozen used room service trays from the night before.

I got into my room and sat on the bed for a while watching TV. Out of the corner of my eye I saw movement. I looked over at the air conditioning vent, which is on the lower part of the wall against the window, just in time to see the back half of a rat crawl out of my room and into the vent! Folks, I grew up on the corner of a farm and I assure you that I know the difference between a rat and a mouse. Mice don't have long tails and they are not the size of a hamster. Surely all the dishes I saw out in the hall were the rat buffet.

I called the front desk, and they changed my room, but they were not very much more accommodating then just giving me a pass to the executive club for the day. While the front desk guy was appologetic, what he didn't seem was suprized!

The Hilton at Logan Airport is a very reasonably priced 4 star property in down town Boston. The hotel shuttles did a great job dropping us off and picking us up from the subway station so we didn't need a car. The pool was small, but nice for the kids. Room service was good, but VERY pricey (and the hotel restaurant would not serve any meals to go). I was a little surprised there were no refrigerators in the rooms for a hotel of this quality. Rooms were very nice, and we stayed on the Executive Floor which included a nice complimentary continental breakfast. No complaints, but for a 4 star property they didn't blow us away. Given the price of lodging in Boston, it was a great value for the price. Would recommend.

We were treating our mother to a cruise and decided to stay here pre-cruise as it was convenient to the airport. A little expensive for my taste, but this was vacation and for the hotel class and convenience not badly priced - $220 for 3 people. Very, very comfortable beds and pillows, excellent linens. Clean modern room though a bit small. Safe and secure premises. Free airport shuttle, even at midnight. Friendly efficient staff.

Did not like: paying for internet, too little coffee in the room, no continental breakfast.

We stayed here for a two day visit to Boston, before flying from the airport. The airport is only 3 miles from the city and the hotel runs a free shuttle to the subway, so access was easy. We stayed in a high room (9th floor) and had fabulous views from the room. We booked and were given an early check in. The hotel bar was OK for food and you get the usual Hilton standards, so we were perfectly happy with the stay.
