I stayed there in the middle of June, one night before a flight home. I had stayed there in March and had a fairly good stay at that time. I checked in at about 3 PM. As I walked to my room, which was the very last unit on the fourth floor, the hall way was lined with at least two dozen used room service trays from the night before.
I got into my room and sat on the bed for a while watching TV. Out of the corner of my eye I saw movement. I looked over at the air conditioning vent, which is on the lower part of the wall against the window, just in time to see the back half of a rat crawl out of my room and into the vent! Folks, I grew up on the corner of a farm and I assure you that I know the difference between a rat and a mouse. Mice don't have long tails and they are not the size of a hamster. Surely all the dishes I saw out in the hall were the rat buffet.
I called the front desk, and they changed my room, but they were not very much more accommodating then just giving me a pass to the executive club for the day. While the front desk guy was appologetic, what he didn't seem was suprized!
