I stayed at the Intercontinental last week for my honeymoon from 7/14 to 7/20. The hotel was very nice with many amenities to keep you busy. With so much to do in Puerto Rico we did not completely use all the features they provided.
Please note: things are pretty pricey at the Intercontinental but there are very affordable places to eat right across the street such as Mi Casita (Puerto Rican food), Burger King, Ponderosa.
We were so facintated with other places along the island such as El Morro in Old San Juan, Ponce, and even took a day trip to Culebra Island to see one of the most stunning beaches I've ever seen in Flamenco Beach. It would be a waste to come all the way to Puerto Rico and not see everything it has to offer.
Overall the hotel was very nice and accommodating. I would definitly be back next year to celebrate my one year anniversary.
