From February 12 to February 28, 2010, Vancouver will host the Olympic Winter Games; from March 12-21, the Paralympics will be held there. The Olympic and Paralympic venues will be in Vancouver and Whistler, B.C. Before 2010, visitors may be interested in seeing the future Olympic sites, or avoiding construction sites.
In Vancouver, hockey games will be held at GM Place ("The Garage") and the University of British Columbia (UBC) Winter Sports Centre; curling at Hillcrest/Nat Bailey Stadium Park (under construction); skating at Pacific Coliseum (being upgraded during the summers of 2007 & 2008); on the North Shore freestyle skiing and snowboarding will be in West Vancouver at the Cypress Mountain Resort (being upgraded); and speedskating at the Richmond Oval (under construction). The Vancouver 2010 Venues Map will give the precise locations of the events venues and photos.

In Whistler, sledge hockey events will take place at: Whistler Arena (to be built 2007-2009); alpine skiing at Whistler Creekside (being upgraded); wheelchair curling at Whistler Meadow Park Sports Centre (to be altered 2009-2010); Whistler Nordic Venue (under construction); and bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton at the Whistler Sliding Centre (under construction, to be completed in fall 2007).
Ticket information will not be available until late 2008.
