I love travelling and like to get away on a short break at least every month, and a couple of longer breaks each year. I like to get good value for money and love an offer, and an upgrade! No longer so keen on sun and beach holidays and now tend towards seeing something different and being spoiled in a nice hotel.

Don't use travel agents much any more and book flights and hotels on the net. Like to fly Virgin Atlantic, or BA on long haul. Use Easyjet and Jet2 for city breaks. Use quite a few Marriott hotels and Intercontinental/Crowne Plaza/Holiday Inn chains as get points and free nights/upgrades which come in handy. Mix this with some local hotels when it suits.

Love the Far East, esp Thailand- Hua Hin.

Like to travel locally in Ireland and try a weekend away on home turf every few weeks. As flight schedules come out I try to book up good value flights to Amsterdam, Prague, Barcelona etc

Love great bars and seeing something with a wow factor - Taj, Great Wall,T'cotta Warriors
